Falesia
A young producer and live performer, Falesia explores sonic landscapes between deep and techno, building immersive, atmospheric sets that bring together electronic research and rhythmic tension.
He has performed solo and in hybrid live and vinyl formats alongside DJs from the underground scene, and has worked with musicians in live electroacoustic shows. That path led him to compositions for violin and electronics with violinist Andryi Kulis. Together they use sound synthesis to recreate ancient sonorities inspired by baroque music and madrigals, harmonies and timbres they both love and reinterpret in a modern key.
His research aims to create a space where the listener can find room for themselves, from the repetition of a constant, deep bass up to a more melodic register that lifts rather than turns inward, a side of his deep and hypnotic work found in the series of EPs made with Massico, a Roman saxophonist and composer and member of l'Arcaico Raggio.
Music as a memory, a memory of the past and of the future in the continuity of the absolute present.
